Plot Summary:Bernard is hopelessly in love with a mysterious and emotionally distant convenience store night clerk named Addy. For months he has tried to get her attention and thinks he finally has a plan to win her heart. Unfortunately for Bernard his big night happens to coincide with a local crime boss's plan to get revenge on Addy for her refusal to pay protection money. As the thugs begin their attack, Addy saves Bernard's life by hiding him in the store's walk-in freezer. Addy dispatches the thugs with graceful and terrifying ease while Bernard looks on through he freezer's glass doors. Despite his new found revelations about Addy, Bernard finally takes the chance and makes his move.
